Why do we need a storage container? Because we need a secure place to store the tools and equipment that BUILD students will need to learn about the Building and Construction Trades. This new 20′ x 10′ storage container was donated by the Rotary Club of Windsor and was delivered on October 20, 2020 – to the delight of all.
The container arrived on a large truck and the driver then had the fun of unloading it by allowing it to slide gently off the truck bed. Of course, all the while he was tipping the bed backwards, he was working to ensure that the container landed in the right position on the pad. What made it extra fun was that little tree you can see right in front of the truck. To protect that little tree and not run over it, the driver had to angle the truck in a strange way so he could pull forward enough to allow the container to slide off. It was exciting to watch! Yikes!
